Within a prominent, characterful building in the heart of Boxford’s idyllic village centre is our cosy and intimate café & wine bar, betwixt the pretty market towns of Sudbury and Hadleigh, on the Essex & Suffolk border. Our convenient yet peaceful position offers the chance to make a brief stop while exploring nearby Constable Country or East Anglia as a whole, or even as a regular home from home while spending time in the area on holiday.
Our menu, borne out of both classic everyday favourites as well as artisan inspired tried and tested creations, is an expression of foods we love and want to share with you. The result is gastronomic brunches, hearty soups made with love, fresh bakes made in the village, sandwiches you need to capture before consuming and charcuterie to enhance any wine worth savouring.
Our mission? To provide a warm welcome, along with fairtrade, organic coffee and ethically sourced produce, beside an extensive, high quality and ever-changing wine selection, courtesy of Nayland-based wine merchant Anglia Wines.
